CGSA Clubs
Lunch Bunch will be meeting for lunch on the fourth Thursday of every month.
This month it happens to fall on Thanksgiving. Look for updates in the coming days for a replacement time and place.
Kids and Casual meets on the second Friday of every month. Watch for an email from Liko letting you know when and where.
Book Club meeting will be Nov. 16th at 10 am at Beth Klein's house at Red Hill. The book being discussed is Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. Please RSVP and we will send you Beth's address and phone number.
Island Adventure Club will be hiking to Diamond Head on November 10th. We will be meeting at the base of the hike at 9:30.
Fischer House/Community Service Group: watch for an email soon with details for this month's plan.
Paddling will continue to meet on Wednesdays, watch your email for location updates.
Upcoming events in our community
The Continuum for Resources Eduation (CORE) will be hosting its first of three workshops for CO/XO Spouses on Thursday, November 12 at the Ford Island Conference Center. The topic will be "Leadership: The Good, Bad and the Ugly". The workshop is open to all past, current, and prospective Navy and Coast Guard CO/XO spouses. This will be a morning conference. Please save the date now; specific time and more details to be announced later. There is a JO Spouse workshop for November 5th. The theme is a Ship Shape Home. We'll have life organization with Lisa Shiroma Collins and four wonderful breakout groups covering everything from painting techniques (courtesy Home Depot), quick and easy floral arranging, neat ideas for food decor, and fun ways to decorate a table. There will be great door prizes and the best pupus in town! Please encourage your JO Spouses to come on out and enjoy themselves.
